North Key Largo Utility Corporation (NKLUC) is a not-for-profit organization that provides irrigation and sewer service to the Ocean Reef and Angler’s Club communities.  ORCA manages NKLUC and the Reverse Osmosis Plant.

During season, the Wastewater Plant treats wastewater before sending it to the Reverse Osmosis Plant where it is filtered. Once the reverse osmosis process is complete, the water is stored in the reverse osmosis lagoon and used for irrigation in our common areas and golf courses. During off-season and at low flows, the treated wastewater is sent to injection wells underground.
